Meet your Co-Parenting with Respect Authors and Providers

Dr. Shelley Bresnick PsyD

Shelley Bresnick, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of Colorado.  She received her doctorate from the University of Denver in 1995.  She has been in private practice in the Lakewood/Golden area since 1999.  She worked in a variety of settings serving children and families prior to this.  In her practice, Shelley serves in a number of court-related roles, such as Parental Responsibilities Evaluator, Co-Parent Educator, and Parenting Plan Consultant.  She also provides therapy to children, adolescents, couples, and families.  Shelley co-founded the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, an organization that strives to improve the legal system and educate professionals involved in divorce-related legal processes.  She is the past president of this organization and is active in other professional organizations.  Shelley is dedicated to helping children have a better life and helping their parents pursue a more respectful approach to their own lives, as well as one another.

Jill Reiter LCSW

Jill Reiter is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Centennial, CO.  Jill graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1987.  She graduated from the University of Denver with a Masters in Clinical Social Work in 1991.
Jill received much of her early training with esteemed psychiatrists in child, adolescent and adult inpatient psychiatric units.  She has many years of experience in working with disrupted family systems through both the public and private sectors.
 Jill currently maintains a private practice in Centennial, CO specializing in Child, Adolescent and Family therapy, including Marriage Counseling.  Jill’s divorce related work includes Child and Family Investigator evaluations, Parenting Coordinator, Mediation, Early Neutral Evaluation, Collaborative Coaching (Child Specialist role), Co-Parenting with Respect, consultation and recommendation for families in the process of divorce.
